With five state parks, eleven historic lighthouses, live theater under the stars, and museums celebrating everything from maritime history to modern art, Door County offers attractions for every interest. Most are within a short drive of Fish Creek.

Peninsula State Park

Fish Creek

Over 3,700 acres of forests, bluffs, and shoreline. Hike to the top of Eagle Tower for panoramic views, bike the 9-mile Sunset Trail, or swim at Nicolet Beach.

Host Tip: Get a state park sticker at the entrance — it is good for all Wisconsin state parks for the entire year.

Northern Sky Theater

Fish Creek (Peninsula State Park)

Award-winning outdoor theater nestled in Peninsula State Park. Original musicals performed under the stars from June through October. A truly unique Door County tradition.

Host Tip: Bring a blanket and bug spray for the outdoor amphitheater shows.

Eagle Bluff Lighthouse

Fish Creek (Peninsula State Park)

A beautifully preserved 1868 lighthouse perched on the bluffs of Peninsula State Park. Take a guided tour and enjoy sweeping views of Green Bay.

Peninsula School of Art

Fish Creek

Located directly across from the Green House, this arts center hosts classes, workshops, and gallery exhibitions year-round. Browse the gallery or sign up for a one-day workshop.

Door County Maritime Museum

Sturgeon Bay

Explore Door County's rich maritime heritage through interactive exhibits, historic vessels, and stories of the shipwrecks, lighthouses, and fishermen that shaped the peninsula.

Cana Island Lighthouse

Baileys Harbor

One of the most photographed lighthouses in Wisconsin. Walk the causeway to the island and climb to the top for stunning Lake Michigan views.
