Meet Your Hosts

Greg and Dan have been welcoming guests to Door County for over a decade. What started as a single vacation home has grown into a passion for sharing the beauty of Fish Creek with families from across the country.

Our Story

We fell in love with Door County the way most people do — on a weekend trip that was never supposed to be more than a quick getaway. But something about the sunsets over Eagle Harbor, the smell of a fish boil on a Friday evening, and the quiet pace of life in Fish Creek made us want to come back again and again.

Over a decade ago, we purchased our first vacation home in Fish Creek with a simple goal: to create a space where families could gather, relax, and make the kind of memories that last a lifetime. That home became the Blue House. A few years later, the Green House followed, and our passion for hosting grew right alongside it.

Based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, we are close enough to personally oversee every detail of your stay. We treat every guest like family because, in a way, you become part of our Door County story when you walk through our doors.

“We treat every guest like family.”

Why Door County?

There is a reason Door County draws over two million visitors a year. Nestled on a 70-mile peninsula between Lake Michigan and Green Bay, it is a place where time seems to slow down and every day feels a little more special.

Natural Beauty

With 300 miles of shoreline, five state parks, and 11 lighthouses, Door County offers some of the most stunning scenery in the Midwest. From dramatic bluffs to peaceful harbors, every season brings a new reason to visit.

Charming Villages

Fish Creek, Ephraim, Sister Bay, and more — each village along the peninsula has its own character. Browse art galleries, sample local cheeses, or catch a sunset from a waterfront cafe.

Year-Round Activities

Hike and kayak in summer, watch the leaves change in fall, cross-country ski in winter, and explore cherry blossoms in spring. Door County is a true four-season destination.

Food and Culture

From the iconic Door County fish boil to award-winning wineries, farm-to-table restaurants, and live theater under the stars at Northern Sky Theater, the peninsula is rich with culinary and cultural experiences.
